SEATTLE –  A large and enthusiastic crowd gathered at a caucus party in Seattle on Saturday to greet candidate Ron Paul, who stole the show from the moment he walked in.

Paul was in the only Republican presidential candidate to show up at a gathering, and said it's not the only thing that sets him apart.

"Of course we do have a message different from the other candidates. Even though we are all Republicans I emphasize the spending … I really want to cut spending, I actually propose a trillion dollar cut,” he said.

He wasn't ready to predict if it would pay off, but said he's working hard for every delegate.

"We're accumulating delegates but not by being in first place - sometimes we get very close to first and then we wonder what's happening, but we are going to get a significant amount of delegates,” he said.
