Voters in the Kearney school district have passed a bond measure to build a replacement for Kearney High School, but bond proposals failed in Minden and Sidney.
The $68 million Kearney measure approved Tuesday will provide money for the school building and a pool.
The Minden measure would have provided nearly $26 million to build a replacement building for the high school.
The Sidney measure would have helped pay for construction of an elementary school on farmland east of town. The land had been donated by Cabela's, the outdoor outfitter that's based in Sidney.
