MORRISVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is making an 11th-hour push to win Pennsylvania.

Two days before the election, Romney on Sunday rallied thousands of people in the cold, telling voters he's going to win here. He was over an hour late, prompting some people to flee freezing cold temperatures before he started speaking.

The Republican nominee has visited Pennsylvania during the general election campaign, but began making a significant play here last week. His campaign has bought millions in TV advertising and scheduled the late rally in the Philadelphia suburbs just a few days in advance.

Democrats say the play represents desperation. Pennsylvania hasn't voted for a Republican candidate since 1988.
