PORTLAND - More than two dozen gunshots were fired in an incident early Sunday morning in northeast Portland, police reported.
Officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire in the area of Northeast 15th Avenue and Killingsworth Street at 3:17 a.m. Sunday morning.
No gunshot victims were found at the scene or arrived at any area hospital. Officers did not locate any property damage as a result of this incident.
However, arriving officers located evidence of gunfire on Killingworth, as well as approximately one block south on 15th Avenue.
Based on information learned at the scene, detectives from the Tactical Operations Division's Gang Enforcement Team responded and continued the investigation.
