OSP seeks killer of Douglas County bull elk

GLENDALE, Ore. (AP) - Authorities are asking for the public's help to identify the person or people who shot and killed a bull elk in Douglas County over the weekend. 
The Oregon State Police said Tuesday the agency's fish and wildlife division was investigating the shooting that happened on Rueben Road in Glendale. 
The dead elk was between two houses in an open field. 
Authorities believe it was most likely killed around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. 
A reward of up to $500 is offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
