On a flight to L.A., Amy Adams provided a little comfort for an American soldier in a first class move.
Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly classy. She gave her 1st class seat to an American soldier. I'm an even bigger fan now.— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) June 27, 2014
In an email to the Today Show, Jemele Hall, co-host of ESPN2's "Numbers Never Lie," said that Adams had noticed the soldier at the gate and then switched seats with him once they boarded the flight.
Adams spoke to the soldier privately before moving to the seat in coach.
The actress, whose father was in the U.S. military, was born on a U.S. base in Italy and grew up on a Colorado base.
