PORTLAND -- The Oregon Zoo is kicking off summer this weekend with the public debut of rescued sea otter pup Juno.
Juno was found abandoned on the California coast and brought to the Oregon Zoo. He first met up with the zoo's two older otters on Monday, said zoo spokesman Hova Najarian.
"The playful 5-month-old and the 16-year-old Thelma got along so swimmingly that they will now be out together for portions of the day," he said.
Starting this weekend, visitors can see Juno in the Steller Cove habitat from about 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
