LINCOLN CITY, Ore. – A fugitive captured by police in Lincoln City after a dramatic standoff Friday night was arrested by Oregon State Police Tuesday after getting released from a Portland hospital.

Dale Edward Wallace, 30, was taken to the hospital after getting hit by a patrol car as he jumped out of a car and pointed a gun at police, said Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.

Wallace’s suspected accomplice in a Butte, Mont. armed robbery shot and killed herself in the vehicle after hours of negotiating with police and the SWAT team.
