PORTLAND – Police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a Pearl District bank Saturday afternoon in Portland.
Employees at the Wells Fargo at 845 Northwest 11th Avenue told police a man entered the bank around 12:45 p.m. and claimed to have an explosive device in a box, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
The man then left with an undisclosed amount of money, Simpson said.
The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s, with a navy blue hoodie, jeans and black gloves. He reportedly covered his face.
Responding officers did not find anyone matching the suspect’s description in the area.
