Man, 22, and teen shot at SE Portland MAX station

PORTLAND – A 22-year-old man and a teenager were shot late Friday night at the Holgate TriMet Transit Station and police are looking a suspect.

Just before midnight, police found a 22-year-old man at Southeast 92nd Avenue and Southeast Holgate Boulevard who was shot several times. He was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.

Officers in the area then found a 15-year-old gunshot victim on the stairs leading to the MAX platform suffering from a head wound. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Simpson said.

Police do not have information about a potential suspect.

The Holgate Transit Station was reopened Saturday morning.
