SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police have arrested a man after multiple reports that someone was pointing a gun at motorists on an Interstate 5 exit ramp in Salem.

Lt. Gregg Hastings says responding troopers spotted a man holding a dark object in his hand Thursday afternoon and held him at gunpoint.

They determined the man had an object made to look like a pistol.

Hastings says 52-year-old Noe Gonzalez was arrested for investigation of menacing and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.
