PORTLAND – Former Portland actor and comedian Ron Funches has been added to the cast of a new network television pilot.
Funches will play a part in the NBC/WBTV comedy pilot "Undateable," according to the Deadline blog.
The show is about “a group of date-challenged friends whose lives are forever altered when a more confident character (Chris D’Elia) enters their world.”
Funches moved to Los Angeles from Portland last year, according to Willamette Week.
He’ll be performing at Portland’s Mississippi Studios on March 28.
