PORTLAND – Deputies seized seven pounds of marijuana after a K-9 sniffed out the drugs during a traffic stop Friday.
At around 4 p.m., deputies pulled over 39-year-old Brandon Stanvenjord of Estacada and 30-year-old Thomas Salinas of Bend who were in a Honda Civic on Interstate 84 near milepost 19, said Lt. Steve Alexander with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputies’ K-9 “Spencer” quickly alerted them about the drugs. Both suspects were taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center and were charged with possession of a controlled substance and parole violation, Alexander said.
