In a video uploaded to YouTube Friday, singer Mat Kearney performs a song he recorded in his home studio the night of the Fiesta Bowl titled “Chip Don’t Go.”

The song was released as Oregon coach Chip Kelly began talks with several NFL teams for a potential coaching gig on football’s biggest stage.

Kearney, a Eugene, Ore. native who now lives in Nashville, gained national stardom with his 2006 major-label debut “Nothing Left to Lose,” which scored several top 20 hits.

According to several sources, Kelly is set to ink a deal with the Cleveland Browns as talks continue with the franchise Saturday.
