LAKE OSWEGO-- A masked intruder broke into a home in Lake Oswego and tied up and assaulted the homeowner Friday night, police said.

Police were called to the 880 Boca Ratan Dr. about 7:30pm.  The homeowner said a masked intruder got into his home and then tied him up with duct tape and assaulted him.

The Intruder stole several items and then took off.  The victim was able to break free and call for help.  Police tell KGW the victim was not seriously injured.

"It's unfortunate for the family. I feel really bad they had the trauma in the home, and I think it's scary for the neighborhood," Linda Foldestad, who lives across the street, told KGW.

Police have a limited description of the suspect.  He was wearing dark clothing, is about 5-foot-9 or 6 feet tall with a medium build.  He had some type of a mask.  Police are still looking for the suspect.
