CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- A woman was rescued early Monday evening after she became stranded in floodwaters at a transient camp in Clackamas County.
Authorities said the transient camp was located near the North Clackamas Aquatic Park, along Mt. Scott Creek.
KGW's Sky-8 helicopter helped searchers locate the woman as the camp filled up with water.
Brandon Paxton with the Clackamas Fire Department said rescuers were able to bring a small boat in to get the woman and her dog to safety.
