NORTH PLAINS – Two suspects robbed the Chevron gas station in North Plains at gunpoint and punched the clerk in the face early Saturday, police said.
At around 2 a.m., two men entered the store and robbed the clerk who was injured slightly after one of the robbers punched him, said Chief William Snyder with the North Plains Police Department.
"The suspects in this case should be considered dangerous, and need to be apprehended before their dangerous behavior results in serious harm to other victims or themselves,” Snyder said in a statement released to KGW.
One suspect was described as a 25-year-old, 6-foot-tall black man wearing a red bandanna, black hoodie and dark pants. He was armed with a handgun.
The other suspect was described as a 25-year-old, 5-foot-10 black man wearing a green Nike hoodie, gloves, and blue sweatpants with a white stripe on the side. He was also armed with a handgun.
