VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- The Clark County sheriff's office says a 55-year-old inmate committed suicide early Wednesday by hanging himself at the county jail in Vancouver.
Sgt. Fred Neiman identified the inmate as Sean Patrick Watson of Vancouver. The county medical examiner determined the death was a suicide.
The man had been booked into jail late Tuesday night for investigation of possession of more than 40 grams of marijuana. Watson was found during a routine bed check.
Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. The death is under investigation.
