PORTLAND -- A man sitting in a car in front of King School in Northeast Portland was shot early Wednesday, just after midnight.
Police say Michael Damone Kent Jr., 26, was shot in the neck and expected to survive.
A suspect wearing dark clothing was seen running away through King School Park.
Portland's gang enforcement team is investigating.
