A 21-year-old woman who was injured in a shooting at party in Seattle Saturday night has died, Seattle police said.

Six people were shot in the early morning shooting during a large house party. Police said shots were fired just before 2 a.m. Sunday at a home in South Seattle.

According to witnesses, there was a rap party in the backyard when someone fired shots into the air.  This led to a disturbance, with people running and more shots fired throughout the yard and into the street.

Six people were struck. Officers from several precincts, as well as officers from Tukwila and King County, responded to the scene.

"We know that at least two people were involved in the shooting, maybe more," said Assistant Chief Nick Metz.

"We heard, like, 50 gunshots," said witness Sean Cortez. "It was pretty crazy."

"We saw people just like running and then I saw my friend on a stretcher and it was just horrible," said witness Nicole Kieu. "People were just crying and screaming, blood on people's clothes."

"I'm walking up to the car, trying to make my way home and I just hear several gunshots so I just take off running," said Ashton Leffall. "There's been a lot of violence around here and you know we just need a solution. I'm tired of being tired. It's time for a solution."

The six victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center, where the 21-year-old woman later died.

Police said they were called to the house twice Saturday night before the shots were fired. The first time was for a reported domestic violence assault and the second time to investigate a noise complaint.

Approximately 20-30 shell casings were found at the scene.

"The crime scene extends well over a block," Metz said.
