VANCOUVER -- A man found dead in his Vancouver apartment has been identified.
Police found 48-year-old Michael J. Ellis dead after an apparent struggle Friday evening, according to Sgt. Scott Creager.
Just before 6 p.m. police were called to the report of an assault in an apartment at 1011 W. 12th Street. Officers at the scene found Ellis unresponsive inside.
Paramedics then determined that he was deceased. Evidence indicated some type of altercation may have occurred, Creager said.
This case was being investigated as a homicide. Police did not have a suspect in custody.
