VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A man armed with what appeared to be a Tazer robbed a Chevron in Northeast Vancouver Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The man entered the Chevron station at 9414 NE Vancouver Mall Drive just before 2:30 p.m. and demanded money from the register, according to Kim Kapp, with the Vancouver Police Department.

Then, the man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled. Kapp said the Taser was never deployed.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 20s, who was tall, with brown hair, and wearing a black hoodie and a jacket.

Anyone with information that may help investigators was urged to call police.
