SALEM – A Salem dad was convicted of manslaughter in the shaking death of his infant son in 2008.
Robert Morris, 25, was found guilty of shaking his son, Gabriel so hard that it caused the infant’s brain to bleed. Morris said he shook his son because he wouldn’t stop crying.
Now Morris will get at least ten years in prison for his crime.
Morris was arrested back in October of 2008 after Gabriel was taken to the hospital and died two days later.
Sentencing in the case was scheduled for September 9.
