Man wanted for stealing Oxycontin from Troutdale pharmacy

TROUTDALE, Ore. - Troutdale Police are looking for a man who stole $4,000 worth of Oxycontin after holding a pharmacist at gunpoint on Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the Walgreen’s store at SW 257th and Stark Street in Troutdale just after 10 a.m. Sunday morning.

A man described as thin, in his early twenties and wearing a hat, sunglasses and a scarf tied over his face approached the pharmacy counter and held the pharmacist at gunpoint with a black and silver handgun.

The suspect then jumped over the counter and took numerous bottles of Oxycontin worth about $4,000 before leaving the store on foot.

The man was last seen running northbound on 257th.
