OREGON CITY, Ore. – Clackamas fire officials have finished searching for the day for the body of a woman who presumably drown while rafting on the Clackamas River near the Carver Park boat ramp Friday afternoon. They plan to be back on the river Saturday morning.
A man and the woman were on a boat upstream from the ramp when they ended up in the water. The man got out of the water safely, but searchers had not found the woman for more than an hour and a half. The woman has been identified as 26 year old Meagan O'Meara.
Two rescue boats were in the water and six divers were searching for the body.
