SALEM, Ore. -- Two bodies were found inside a submerged car in the Pudding River Monday.
Marion County deputy Don Thomson said a witness saw a the red Honday Civic go off Mount Angel Gervais Rd Northeast into the Pudding River around 3:45 p.m.
Police and the Newberg Dive Teams were called in right away.
The road was closed as a towing truck and crews began pulling the red sedan out of the river.
The victims' identities were not available.
