TIGARD, Ore. -- Police are looking for the man who attacked a woman near Washington Square Mall Monday night.
The woman, who is also a mall employee, asked to remain anonymous. She said she was walking alone right after 9:00 in the parking lot when she was hit on the head from behind.

The victim, a 53-year-old woman, suffered a fractured nose, eyebrow bone and eye socket. she also had 18 stitches. The man stole her backpack with just $50 cash inside. She never saw her attacker.
A witness told police a tan sedan was seen speeding away from the scene. Police released a photo of a similar vehicle, a mid-90s Honda Accord, hoping someone might come forward with tips for investigators. (See police photo of car at right.)
"Video obtained from the mall also suggests the vehicle's rear passenger side door has substantial damage. The video also depicts that there may have been others involved in the crime," said Jim Wolf with the Tigard Police Department. "Investigators are working closely with security and retailers at the mall to possibly develop additional descriptors or images which may help to identify the suspect(s) and their associated vehicle."
Investigators said the incident was a stranger-on-stranger attack.
