PORTLAND -- A woman's body was found late Tuesday evening in a Southwest Portland apartment.
Police were dispatched about 10 p.m. to the Park Terrace Apartments at 2073 Southwest Park Avenue on a report of a dead woman, said Sgt. Pete Simpson.
Based on what the arriving officers saw, homicide detectives and criminal investigators were called to the scene, he said. Simpson described her passing as a suspicious death.
No other details were released. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.
