PORTLAND - A bank robber described by police as the “Hipster Bandit” may have hit another Northeast Portland bank on Friday.
In both cases, the suspect demanded money and implied he had a weapon, then left with a undisclosed amount of cash.
In August, Albina Bank employees told police the suspect came into the bank on NE 56th and Sandy and presented a demand note and fled with cash.
He was described as a male white or Asian in his early 30s, 5-foot-7 inches tall, with a thin build, dark hair, black cap, tan pants, glasses, carrying a black bag, and "looked like a hipster," according to Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.
