BEAVERTON – A pedestrian was killed on a Beaverton sidewalk after being hit by a car Tuesday.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue said a female driver hit a 17-year-old boy, then crashed through a metal fence near Southwest 185th Avenue and Sandra Lane and finally hit a house.
Paramedics arrived to perform life support, but the unidentified victim died at the scene.
The driver was taken to the hospital.
SW 185th was closed in both directions for the investigation.
