HILLSBORO -- A Forest Grove man suspected of throwing a breakfast sandwich at a Jack in the Box restaurant worker in March is now wanted by police.

Lawrence Staley failed to appear at a court hearing Friday, so a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.  A trial was slated for Wednesday, August 29 but has been postponed in light of his absence. If Staley is arrested, he will be booked in jail and a new trial date will be set.

Staley is suspected of throwing a 'Breakfast Jack' sandwich at a worker in Forest Grove back in March after he had a complaint about his fries.

The employee was hit by the sandwich in the back of the head but wasn't seriously injured.  Staley was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct in the incident.
