PORTLAND - Jack White played an impromptu show to a Northwest Portland laundromat packed with fans who heard about it just minutes before.
A Tweet went out from Third Man Records at 4 p.m. saying White would be at the City Laundry on NE Glisan at 4:30.
Sure enough, the guitarist and his three-piece backing band showed up for the set ahead of Wednesday night's gig at the Rose Garden.
