NAMPA -- Nampa Police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital late Thursday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the 400 block of Cedar Park Lane in south Nampa just after 5:30 p.m.

Police say a 37-year-old woman was shot by her husband and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Officials say four other people were in the house at the time of the shooting, and the couple's children are with investigators.

Police are trying to find the husband, 45-year-old Raudel Gonzalez. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. A warrant charging him with aggravated battery has been issued.

Officials say he is possibly driving a gray 1989 Nissan Sentra with a white hood, front end damage and Idaho license plate number: 2C DZ528.

Police say the public should not be concerned for their safety, but to be on the lookout for Gonzalez.

If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Gonzalez, they are asked to call 911.
