PORTLAND – Officers arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at Coasters Bar and Grill in Southeast Portland’s Mt. Tabor neighborhood Saturday, police said.

Police identified 51-year-old Edward Hauer (pictured right) as the gunman who held up the bar at 6015 Southeast Powell Boulevard just before noon, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.

Officers also arrested the suspected getaway driver, 32 -year-old Julian Matthews (pictured left), Simpson said.

Detectives determined Hauer was also involved in several robberies dating back to August including Dotty’s Deli, Loto’s Deli, Bob and Alice’s Bar and a previous robbery of Coasters Bar and Grill.
