Two pedestrians robbed in Woodstock neighborhood

PORTLAND – Police are looking for a suspect who robbed two people at gunpoint in Portland’s Woodstock neighborhood late Friday night.

At 11:40 p.m., police found a man who had been robbed at Southeast 47th Avenue and Southeast Woodstock Boulevard, Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau said.

The robber took the man’s keys, wallet and glasses, Simpson said.

Officers began searching the area and came across a second man who was robbed in the 5600 block of Southeast 46th Avenue. He told police he saw the suspect running east through the neighborhood.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, 5-foot-8, with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and was armed with a handgun.
