SALEM – Authorities are investigating two seemingly unrelated shootings that happened early Saturday morning in Salem.

The first shooting was outside Shooter’s Café & Saloon where one man was killed, authorities said.

Just after 2 a.m., deputies discovered the body of 28-year-old Justin De La Rosa near the doorway of the bar at 4615 Silverton Road, said Don Thomson with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators have no information about the shooter but have identified a vehicle of interest, Thomson said.

The car is a newer model white Ford Mustang convertible. Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call 503-932-5476.

The second shooting was ten minutes later, around 2:10 a.m., at 3755 Portland Road Northeast at the 501 Grill, said Dave Okada with the Salem Police Department.

Police found one person shot who was taken to the hospital with life-threatening-injuries, Okada said.

Officers at the scene had reports that other people were shot, and later that evening, two people showed up at the hospital. Neither person had life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said the second shooting happened after a dispute in the parking lot of the restaurant. They are searching for a suspect.
