A Skagit County teen died in a fall in the Concrete area on Friday.
The Skagit County Sheriff's Office said on Friday at about On October 5th, 2012, at approximately 10:30, the Skagit County 911 center received a call that someone had fallen off of a 50-75 cliff.
Medical aid and Skagit County deputies responded to an abandoned gravel pit in the 6300 block of Baker River Road, just North of Concrete on Lake Shannon.
Fire and Aid responders found a 17-year-old boy dead at the base of a cliff leading from the gravel pit down to Lake Shannon.
The Sheriff’s office says an Initial investigation indicated that there had been a large gathering at the gravel pit, and that alcohol may have been involved.
Investigators believe that this was an accidental death.
