Seattle police officers opened fire on a suspect Monday who sped away from the scene in the Denny Regrade area, said police.
No one was injured and the suspect was taken into custody shortly after.
The incident started near Taylor and Denny streets near the Seattle Center. Police said the man's actions drew the attention of officers, causing them to fire shots at the man.
The man fled from the scene in a white SUV. His vehicle ended up with two flat tires, so he drove his car into the parking lot of The Hurricane cafe on Seventh Avenue and took off on foot.
Police officers caught the man a few blocks away and took him into police custody without incident.
Police said they don't know at this point why shots were fired by officers.
