OKANGOGAN COUNTY-- Thursday an armed man kept fire crews in Okanogan County from fighting a wildfire.
Authorities believe an armed man lit fires along the Eagle Trail head overnight near Twisp River Road.
Authorities asked people to stay out of the area.
Firefighters arrived and say that's when a 41-year-old man shot at them and ran off into the woods.
Nobody was injured.
Witnesses say the suspect is also carrying a machete.
