Poll:
Should the White House release photos of Osama Bin Laden's death?

SEATTLE – A former Navy SEAL living in Seattle says he expects the team of men that killed Osama Bin Laden to remain a secret.

"It would be nice to recognize their heroism, but I hope that doesn't happen," Dave Werner said. "They would live their entire lives in fear for their lives and lives of their families."

Werner, a former member of SEAL Team 2 based out of Virginia Beach, knows some of the men in fabled Team 6, a team known for especially dangerous and high profile missions.

While Werner says he's not sure whether he knows any of the men who actually conducted the raid, he is sure they were heavily trained for the mission, likely using real life scenarios to prepare for whatever would happen.

"These guys are among the best at what they do in the world," Werner said. "Those guys have been practicing with some intensity that would astonish people."

Werner adds that it's nice to see a mission carried out without politics getting in the way.

"In this one instance, they were allowed to just do their job, and it's rewarding to see what they can do," Werner said. "It's rewarding to take care of that unfinished business."
