FARMINGTON, Conn. (AP) — Police in Connecticut say a former teacher at a prestigious all-girls boarding school charged with sexually assaulting a student may have had inappropriate conversations with five other teens.
An arrest warrant affidavit released Tuesday revealed more allegations against 42-year-old Joseph Rajkumar, a physics teacher at Miss Porter's School in Farmington who was fired March 4. He was charged with sexual assault for alleged incidents dating back to 2010.
The warrant says a now-former student alleges Rajkumar started groping her when she was 15 and they had sex after she turned 17.
The warrant also alleges Rajkumar had inappropriate conversations with five other girls.
Rajkumar declined to comment after a court appearance Tuesday.
Miss Porter's School is among the nation's most selective all-girls schools. Its alumnae include Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis and Gloria Vanderbilt.
