The 'America's Got Talent' finalists have been named, and half are singers

The America's Got Talent finalists for Season 11 have been named.

After weeks of performances and eliminations of singers, magicians, dancers, acrobats and comedians, voters and judges have whittled the roster of contestants down to ten finalists, five of whom were announced safe Wednesday night.

The results? Well, the top ten are a diverse group: Contortionist Sofie Dossie, juggler Viktor Kee (who we actually saw warm up for a Cirque show once, and he was mesmerizing), the appropriately-named Clairvoyants, magician Jon Dorenbos and mime/comedian Tape Face all made it through. Oh, and five singers.

Need help remembering which final vocalist is which? We're here for you.

Folksy singer/songwriter Grace VanderWaal, 12, was basically a shoo-in after her performances consistently went viral.

Linkin Bridge is the one singing group left. They're a tough-looking quartet that does plenty of smooth harmonizing and a cappella.

Brian Justin Crum, who was 28 at his audition, was on Broadway as a teenager, and he has the impressive range to prove it.

Sal Valentinetti, an Italian pizza delivery boy, surprised the judges when he said he was only 20 at his audition. He surprised them even more when he showed off his Frank Sinatra-esque voice.

Laura Bretan, 14, seemed so nervous and shy onstage... before belting out an operatic song that Simon Cowell called "unbelievable."

Jayna Brown, who we wrote about recently, did not make it through.

The America's Got Talent finals begin next Tues. 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
