Motorcycle rider suffers 'significant injuries' in Connector crash

BOISE - An Oregon man was badly hurt Sunday night in a motorcycle wreck on the Connector.

A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with "significant injuries" after crashing on the Connector Sunday evening, police said.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-184 near the Fairview Avenue exit. Idaho State Police say 28-year-old Andrew Clark of Grants Pass, Oregon lost control of his 2008 Suzuki motorcycle and hit the concrete barrier on the right shoulder.

Clark was not wearing a helmet, and police say he suffered "significant injuries." He was taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Clark was listed in critical condition Monday morning.

The crash blocked the right lane for more than two hours.
