Man shot in leg later airlifted to Spokane hospital

LEWISTON, Idaho --- Police are investigating a case where a man was shot in the leg and later airlifted to a Spokane hospital.

On Thursday, police responded to a call off the 1000 block of 18th Street in Lewiston. A man had been shot in the left upper thigh. A Lewiston ambulance transported him to the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was then later airlifted to Providence Medical Center in Spokane.

Lewiston police detectives are still investigating.
