NAMPA -- A worker died after an industrial accident at a cheese manufacturing plant in Nampa Thursday morning.
The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. at Sorrento Lactalis at Franklin and Star roads.
According to the Canyon County Sheriff's Office, the man was pinned between a rack and a forklift. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Canyon County Sheriff's Office spokesman Joe Decker said deputies were sent out to assist medics, but the incident does not appear to be a crime.
OSHA is taking over the investigation, Decker said Thursday night.
Lactalis released a statement about the incident Friday morning, calling the man's death a "tragic accident." The worker's name has not yet been released.
