PULLMAN, Wash. – Police said possible charges and arrests could be coming soon in connection to a massive brawl that happened at a house party just blocks away from Washington State University’s campus back in July.
At the time, Pullman Police said it was one of the worst brawls they had ever seen. Several people were hurt and on Tuesday, KREM 2 News confirmed that the investigation could be closed by Friday.
Video shows more than 100 people were inside the house at the time of the fight. Despite the video evidence, Pullman Police always insisted that investigating the case would be difficult. Officials said nearly everyone at the party was drunk and each person seemed to tell a different version of events.
After seven weeks, police said they are interviewing the last of the witnesses in this brawl. Authorities are not saying too much about the overall investigation, but they have confirmed that they have identified the people they believe started the fight. As a result, charges and possible arrests in this case could happen as soon as Friday. Police said video evidence in this case has been vital.
Police said they have interviewed more than 50 people in the case.
