Camas-Washougal Fire Department lifts recreational fire ban as temperatures fall, moisture returns

WASHOUGAL, Wash.-- The Camas- Washougal Fire Department  lifted it's ban on recreational fires Thursday. Due to the cooling and moisture trends forecasted from the National Weather Service, the fire department's Fire Chief and Fire Marshal have directed that recreational fire will once again be allowed in both cities.

The Fire Department imposed the recreational fire ban on August 19 th, amid 100 degree temperatures.
