Identities released of those struck by SUV near Aloha High School

ALOHA, Ore. -- Four people who were struck by an SUV near Aloha High School Friday afternoon have been identified, police said.

Police were called at about 3 p.m. Friday to the crash on Southwest 185th Avenue.

A GMC Yukon, driven by Jeffery Leitz, left the roadway and struck two adults and two teens, according to Deputy Jeff Talbot of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Leitz stayed at the scene to talk with investigators. But his license has been suspended due to a medical issue since 2001, according to DMV records.

Two of the victims were identified as 34-year-old Brian Smith and 26-year-old Celsey Smith, both of Portland. Two male Aloha High students, ages 16 and 17, were also struck.

All four were hospitalized with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries Talbot said.

The case was forwarded to the Washington County District Attorney's Office.
