A teen driver was taken to the hospital after a four-car crash east of Jerome.
Idaho State Police say that at about 9 p.m. Friday, three cars were stopped on U.S. Highway 93 for turning traffic near 200 North Road when a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup heading north failed to stop for traffic and rear-ended a 2004 Toyota Camry, forcing the Toyota into the rear of the other two cars - a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse and a 2010 Mazda MZ3.
The driver of the Toyota, a juvenile female, was extricated from her car and taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley. Her name and condition have not been released.
Police say the driver of the Toyota and the driver of the Dodge were not wearing seat belts.
U.S. 93 was blocked for about two hours while troopers investigated the crash.
Idaho State Police say that charges are pending.
