SPOKANE, Wash. – A man found dead in the Spokane River back on November 6 has been identified as a man who was reported missing back in October.
Worthy Roseberry, 24, was last seen on October 23 just after 7:30 a.m. Police received a call from Roseberry’s parents advising he was missing. They said they last saw him on October 19 when he told his mom he wanted to “go out” but his mom had told him it was too early and to go back to bed. Family members said he cognitively functions at an 8 to 10-year-old level.
Police said Roseberry’s body was found in the river near Post Street. According to authorities, his body was not immediately identifiable.
Detectives and the Medical Examiner will continue to investigate a possible manner of death. At this time police do not believe there is any threat to the community.
